BCDI Sacramento is excited to share our Families Know Best Family Cafe initiative. We invite families to join us on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Colonial Heights Library as we kickoff monthly family meetups around the Sacramento area engaging community in culturally responsive activities uplifting Black culture for children ages 0-5 years old.

BCDI Sacramento in partnership with Child Trends convened a focus group of 5 parents to participate in "The Community Engaged Protective Resources Study.  Participants shared and identified community resources that protect the well-being of their families.
