Black Child Development Institute - Sacramento has served the Greater Sacramento Community since 1989 and we continue to lead with our mission to "Improve and advance the quality of life for Black children and families through advocacy and education". We invite you to our Families Know Best: Family Cafe on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at the Sylvan Oaks Library Community Room to celebrate National Black Child Development Week as we Dream Forward for the futures of Black children and families. We've curated a space to provide culturally responsive hands-on activities uplifting Black culture for children ages 0-8 years old. We hope to see you there! Click on the image below to register.
